OVERVIEW
The Enterprise Integrator software system as proved to be both effective and reliable over a number of years in a Fortune 50 sales and manufacturing environment. With the Enterprise Integrator, a company can configure, quote, order, build, and test customizable orders with unprecedented speed and quality.
The Enterprise Integrator suite consists of two integrated modules: the Sales Module and the Manufacturing Module. The Sales Module automates product configuration, quoting, and order entry. Customers can instantly explore and specify the exact product options they want, and salespeople can confidently quote valid product configurations and pricing.
The Manufacturing Module provides exact step-by-step assembly and/or test instructions that dynamically adapt to the production worker's abilities. These instructions are in the form of annotated, photographic quality images and text directives. They are automatically generated for both custom orders or build-to-stock product models.
With the click of a button, production supervisors can alter build processes from single cell to multi-station or progressive line. Production scheduling may be optimized for throughput or order priority. The Enterprise Integrator is easily adapted to a wide variety of business models and easily integrated into existing databases, billing, and MRP systems.
The Sales and Manufacturing Modules may be implemented separately, or as a powerful seamlessly integrated system. The Enterprise Integrator coordinates each phase of the order fulfillment process, and eliminates the opportunities for errors before they occur. The Enterprise Integrator has produced the following benefits for our customers over years of continuous use in dynamic sales and manufacturing environments:
Sales Module
- Eliminate virtually all order configuration errors
- Reduce sales and order entry cycle time
- Reduce sales training time
- Expand scope of product options
- Maintain, validate, and deploy product changes to world-wide sales force
Manufacturing Module
- Reduce manufacturing errors
- Reduce manufacturing cycle time
- Reduce production training time
- Modify and optimize build processes as desired
- Adapt assembly instructions to different technicians' skill levels
In actual implementations, the Enterprise Integrator has improved various aspects of sales and manufacturing processes from 5 to 1,000 times. Cycle times have been cut dramatically, configuration errors have been virtually eliminated, and manufacturing errors have been significantly reduced. At the same time, product options have been expanded, while sales and production training times for the expanded product lines have been reduced. These improvements are long-lasting, and translate into millions of dollars in annual savings in addition to greatly enhanced customer satisfaction.
